Our unique system has private sealed chambers that reside within the unit to ensure that your pet is processed individually.
At the heart of the Paws to Remember process, is green cremation (also sometimes referred to as bio cremation or water cremation). Utilising alkaline hydrolysis, the process is more natural than any other method.
Whilst this is a relatively new concept in Australia this process has been utilised for decades (for both humans and pets) in the USA, Canada, UK and Europe.
Gentle and Environmentally-Friendly Care after the passing of your pet.
We use a gentle water flow, alkalinity and warm water to accelerate our ecosystem's natural method of breaking down organic matter.
A combination of 95% warm water and 5% alkali gently flows around the body.
Due to the gentle nature of the process, not as aggressive as fire cremation, more of your beloved pet's remains are retained and available to be returned to you.
You can choose a velvet bag, a scatter urn, an urn or a wooden box with a plaque.

About Us
We are a Canberra based family of true pet lovers and completely understand the very strong bond that we humans create with our pets. They are part of the family not just 'a pet'. We currently have three dogs, two are 'rescues' and sadly at the moment no cats.
Once upon a time we would bury our pets in the back yard but were then upset when we moved and had to leave our beloved pets behind.
We moved on to having our pets cremated so that they could move with us. We love this idea.
Then we were introduced to the water cremation system. We found this to be a much gentler process with the added bonus that it is a natural gentle, environmentally friendly process.
As we understand the strong bond between you and your pet, we guarantee that your pet will be treated with the utmost care and respect. A a friend commented when we were telling her about the process

We offer only private cremation to ensure your pet, and 'only' your pet remains will be returned to you.
